Buy seeds from Blanc. The map icon is more reliable than written directions — guides place the shop at the Windmill Flower Field and on Garden Street.
Crops grow in real time while you fish or log out. Tomatoes are the short crop on community charts (about 15 minutes). Do not plan a plot around avocado until the shop shows a grow time; sources disagree.
A new season changes what is worth planting. Read the in-game season and Blanc’s stock before you buy a week of seeds.
Sell price rises with star quality. If you already know the recipe, cook before you sell. See Make gold.
Gardening is the second income stream, after fishing, and the one that works while you are doing something else. It opens with Blanc around DG level 2.
The loop
- Open the map and track Blanc if the shop is empty. Pronouns in guides conflict, so this page just uses the name.
- Buy seeds your gardening level and DG rank already allow. A locked seed is a rank problem, not a hidden menu.
- Plant a mix: one short crop you can harvest this session, one longer crop aimed at your next login.
- Water if your tools still require it, then leave. Growth continues.
- Harvest, keep what requests and recipes need, sell the rest. Or cook first.

Base numbers below are the cells a 2026 crop guide printed without a question mark. Higher-star prices were estimated on that page; they are omitted. One-star sell is the floor, not what a good harvest is worth. Unverified.

Tea, cacao, and avocado show up as expensive or slow seeds with incomplete public numbers. A wiki page cites avocado as a 48-hour crop and a 180 gold seed. Another table leaves the grow time blank. Wait until Blanc’s shop prints the time.
Gold per day is not “plant corn and leave.” Corn ties up the plot. Tomatoes and pineapple turn over while you are in town. Use the long crops on plots you will not touch before logout, and only after the seed is cheap relative to your wallet.
Seasons
The in-game calendar changes which fish, bugs, and crops are in rotation, and event boards add limited stock on top. Practical rules:
- The evening before a season change, harvest what will not be useful next season and do not refill the plot with seeds you have not checked.
- Event crops are for the event window. They are a bad “forever” gold plan.
- Flowers are a second Blanc system: base colors, hybrids, teas, and gifts. A full hybrid chart is a database project. Rare flowers are the gift people mean when they say “bring something nice,” including the often-cited Crystal Flower. Confirm the villager’s tags in the gift UI. See NPC gifts.
Shop gates
DG rank unlocks the listing. Gardening level unlocks the skill side (better tools, wider actions). If a seed guide says “carrot at gardening 5” and your shop is empty, look at DG level before you grind watering. Both gates get cited, and they are not the same number.
