DG level path

DG (also written D.G. Membership) is the town rank. It gates hobbies, shop stock, plots, and story. It is time-gated.
The daily lever is resident requests. Guides say five requests and up to 50 contribution medals. Hobby grinding does not replace a missed day.
DG level 2 is the gardening milestone: Blanc, seeds, and the first Hobby Expansion Ticket, according to community wikis.
We publish that early path. A full level-by-level database already exists elsewhere, and the numbers move when XD ships a patch.
Players search “DG level” because a shop is empty or a hobby is locked and the game does not say “come back tomorrow” in plain language. The rank is the explanation.
What actually gives DG progress
Community guides line up on three sources:
- Resident requests, the daily board. Heartopia.Life describes five requests and a cap around 50 contribution medals a day.
- Main story quests, including whatever Atara, the mayor, is holding.
- Playing hobbies, which helps, and does not refill medals you left on yesterday’s board.
Early milestones
This is the part worth memorizing. It is not a level 50 chart.

Hobby skill and DG rank are different. A high gardening level can still be unable to buy a seed if the shop is locked behind DG. The carrot-seed example shows up on wiki tables as a DG gate. Treat any specific seed-at-level cell as Unverified until you see it in Blanc’s shop.
How to spend the days
- Clear the request board first, before a long hobby session.
- Keep one stack of the items requests usually want: a common fish, a fast crop, a cooked dish once you have a recipe.
- At DG 2, open gardening and plant something short if you will be online, something longer if you are about to log out. Details are on Farming by season.
- Hold the Hobby Expansion Ticket until you have read Hobbies. The default gold answer is cooking. The honest answer is the hobby you will open tomorrow.
What we are not publishing
Tidebell and the larger wikis keep dense DG and friendship tables. Copying those tables would be stale the week a patch adds a plot. If you need “what unlocks at level 27,” use those sites, then come back here for the daily rule: requests first, ticket on purpose, shop stock follows the rank.
